At CBT Therapy Wimbledon – The Life You Want, I offer compassionate, results-focused therapy to help you live a life driven by presence, connection, and clarity. If you’ve never had therapy before, it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. The idea of sitting with someone new and sharing your story can feel vulnerable — but it’s also the first step toward real change. In your initial session, I’ll begin by simply listening. There’s no pressure to “perform” or dive too deep before you’re ready.

We’ll talk about what’s brought you here, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope to change or understand better. I’ll explain a bit about how I work and introduce some of the therapeutic tools we may use together — such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), or inner child work.

This first session is not just an assessment — it’s also about us getting a feel for each other. Do you feel safe? Heard? Comfortable? Therapy works best when there’s a strong connection between therapist and client, and I invite you to reflect on whether this feels like a good fit. You’ll leave the session with more clarity — either about your next steps in therapy or perhaps about what you want from the process overall. If we decide to continue, we’ll start mapping out a therapeutic plan in the next session, aligned with your needs, values and goals.

I’m a qualified psychotherapist, CBT specialist, Master NLP Practitioner and accredited life coach. For 14 years, I was co-founder and Registered Manager of ARC Rehab in Portsmouth — a groundbreaking addiction treatment centre.
